Valley Company Gets Land

MAUSDALE- the new Valley Township Fire Company is on its way to becoming operational with the donations by Elmer Folk Sr. Danville RD2 of about two acres of land near the intersection of Rt. 54 and Interstate 80.
“All we need yet to become operational is a monitor siren and a building” said Myron Eister, Valley Township fire chief.
Folk gave the ground to the company in a brief ceremony Wednesday at the site in return, the company gave Folk and his two sons, Elmer Jr. and Robert, lifetime membership in the fire company.
